THE GENERAL DATA

Coupling is intended for short-term separation of the engine and transmission at a gear change or braking and their smooth connection at трогании the car from a place, and also for protection of details of transmission from dynamic loadings.

Coupling one-disk, dry, constantly closed type, with the central press spring and гасителем крутильных fluctuations on a conducted disk. In картере transmissions the primary shaft of a transmission on which settles down выжимной the bearing which is not demanding maintenance service acts, and outside картера the lever of deenergizing of coupling to which the coupling cable fastens is located.

The principle of action of coupling is based on transfer of a twisting moment from a flywheel and a leading part of coupling on a conducted disk, so, and on a primary shaft of a transmission, at the expense of forces of a friction which arise between disks at the included coupling. At the expense of elasticity of a press spring press the disk clamps in this position among themselves and a flywheel a conducted disk with the effort which is not supposing its proslippings. Thus выжимной the bearing and a press spring do not adjoin.

By pressing a coupling pedal through a cable of coupling and a plug выжимной the bearing presses a press spring of a leading disk of coupling and wrings out a leading disk from a flywheel therefore the conducted disk is released and twisting moment transfer between the engine and a transmission stops.

Free wheeling adjustment – automatic also occurs by means of the ratchet mechanism located about a pedal of coupling.
