Driving of the car equipped with an automatic transmission
At driving of the car equipped with an automatic transmission, it is necessary to pay attention to following features:
– At dispersal of the car the engine will work with the raised turns that is normal and typical for automatic transmission;
– For fast increase in speed of movement it is necessary to press an accelerator pedal against the stop and some time to keep it in this position. The increase in number of turns of the engine and fall of transfer number in a transmission will quickly increase speed of movement of the car;
– If pressure upon an accelerator pedal decreases, engine turns will decrease irrespective of speed of movement. This normal phenomenon leading to considerable economy of fuel.
The prevention
It is forbidden to increase turns of the engine over 300 rpm at position of the handle in a position "N".
Driving of the car equipped with the catalyst
To exclude such working conditions of the engine at which not burnt down or partially burnt down fuel can get to the catalyst, especially at the heated-up engine:
– Do not suppose full development of fuel from a fuel tank;
– Do not make unfairly long start of the engine;
– Do not start the engine with the disconnected wire of a high voltage;
– Do not start the engine towage or pushing at the heated-up engine. For engine start use the accumulator from other car;
– Do not switch off the engine at car movement.
Parking of the car equipped with the catalyst
After a stop of the engine an exhaust system long time continues to radiate heat significant amount, therefore it is necessary to avoid a parking on a grass and dry leaves.
