3.3.5.2. Heads of the block of cylinders
THE GENERAL DATA

Process of removal of heads of the block of cylinders is presented for the engine established in the car.

The gauge of pressure of oil

The gauge of pressure of oil is on the left forward party of the block of cylinders.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a wire of weight from the accumulator.
2. To merge cooling liquid from cooling system.
3. To disconnect the top hose of a radiator and a hose of a heater from the thermostat case.
4. To disconnect air hoses from the throttle case.
5. To remove two sockets from gauges of a stream of air (arrows are specified vacuum the union).
6. To remove a ventilation hose картера (it is specified by an arrow) with маслозаливной mouths.
7. To remove the case of the air filter together with hoses and gauges of a stream of air.
8. To disconnect hoses from a broad tank.
9. To disconnect electric wires from following elements:
     – The generator (at removal of the left head);
     – The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid;
     – The valve of turns of idling;
     – A potentiometer of position throttle заслонки;
     – The ignition distributor;
     – The gauge of temperature of fuel;
     – Fuel atomizers.
10. To remove pressure in a fuel highway (having pressed the valve of dump of pressure) and to disconnect fuel pipelines.
11. To disconnect vacuum hoses from a regulator of pressure of fuel, the case of a throttle and from the T-shaped connector.
12. To remove a ventilation hose картера from a head cover (the arrow specifies the hose valve).
13. To unscrew the chamber of an elevated pressure and to displace it aside together with an accelerator cable.
14. To remove high-voltage wires from spark plugs and to uncover the distributor together with wires.
15. Turning a cranked shaft for the central bolt of fastening гасителя крутильных fluctuations to establish the piston of 1 cylinder in an ignition point (12 ° before ВМТ) and to remove the ignition distributor.
16. For removal of the right head to remove приводной a belt, the generator and the pump of the amplifier of a steering and a soft wire to attach to a body.
17. To uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
18. To unscrew bolts and to remove an axis коромысел.
19. To take pushers and to arrange them in an order providing their repeated installation on the places.
20. To remove an inlet collector together with a fuel highway and atomizers.
21. To disconnect from final collectors reception exhaust pipes.
22. To disconnect the tyre of grounding from a back left part of a head.
23. To unscrew spark plugs.
24. Gradually and consistently to unscrew bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in sequence to return their screwing up.
25. To remove a head of the block of cylinders.
26. To remove a lining of a head of the block of cylinders.

Installation

Sequence of a tightening of bolts of fastening of an inlet collector

 

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal, thus it is necessary to consider following moments:

  – Bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders to replace with the new;
  – To establish only a new lining of a head of the block of cylinders;
  – On interfaced surfaces of an inlet collector and heads to put hermetic and bolts of fastening of an inlet collector to tighten in certain sequence;
  – To warm up the engine to working temperature and to check up installation of the moment of ignition;
  – To tighten bolts of fastening of an inlet collector in certain sequence.
