3.1.2.2.3. Dismantling and assemblage of a head of the block of cylinders
THE GENERAL DATA

Longitudinal fixing of a cam-shaft

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To arrange a head of the block of cylinders in forward and back parts on two wooden брусках.
2. To remove an inlet collector together with the carburettor and a tube of tap of a cooling liquid.
3. To unscrew a thermal casing, and then a final collector.
4. To unscrew hairpins of fastening of both collectors.
5. To unscrew the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid.
6. To remove tubes of giving of oil to cam-shaft bearings.
7. To remove (the adaptation 21.005) in the order of a spring of the lever of valves, and also levers of valves.
8. To compress in the order of a spring of valves (the adaptation 21.005) to take crackers of fastening of the top persistent plate of a spring. To remove the top plate and a valve spring, paying attention not to damage valve cores.
9. To remove a pulley from a cam-shaft, holding a cam-shaft with a flat key for grooves behind the sixth cam. To remove a persistent lining of a pulley of a cam-shaft, and also its sealing ring.
10. To unscrew two bolts of fastening of an adjusting plate in a back part of a cam-shaft and cautiously to extend back a cam-shaft. To unscrew the bolts forming an emphasis for the lever of valves, coming to an end with spherical tips (fig. in item 7 see); if they are used later it is necessary to designate them so that in the course of assemblage they have been established in the same places and could co-operate with the same levers of valves.
11. To unscrew the tension device of a gear belt (the adaptation 21.012) and to remove the remote plug.

Check of directing plugs of valves

The worn out directing plugs of valves do not provide coaxial installation of valves in saddles that leads to substantial growth of the expense of fuel and oil.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To insert the valve into directing plug and, moving the valve in a cross-section direction, to check up a backlash.
2. If the backlash exceeds admissible norms it is necessary to make processing of the directing plug by means of corresponding development till next increased size. Processing of the directing plug it is necessary to begin from outside combustion chambers.
3. If directing plugs were exposed to processing, it is necessary to establish valves with cores of the increased diameter.

Processing of saddles of valves in a head of the block of cylinders

Saddles of valves with wear tracks or подгорания are necessary for processing with obligatory preservation of corners and facet sizes. Otherwise it is necessary to make replacement of a head of the block of cylinders. After any processing of saddles of valves it is necessary to spend grinding in of valves.

Grinding in

Grinding in of valves is necessary for making with application only fine-grained polishing paste.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. A surface of a saddle of the valve to grease with a small amount of paste and to establish the valve in a corresponding saddle. Densely to press to a valve plate a rubber sucker and to rotate the valve in one or other party.
2. After the termination of process of grinding in all details carefully to clear of a dirt and paste and to check up a saddle and a valve plate. The continuous matte ring on both details which specifies width of a facet of the valve should be visible.

Assemblage

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To screw up hairpins of fastening of collectors, and then the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid.
2. To oil for гипоидных transfers of class SAE of 80/90 necks, cams and persistent surfaces of a cam-shaft, internal surfaces подшипниковых rings, spherical tips of bolts of an emphasis of the lever of valves, and also surfaces of the lever of the valves, co-operating with cam-shaft cams.
3. To insert behind a head of the block of cylinders a cam-shaft before installation of its necks in rings of bearings, paying attention not to damage sliding surfaces.
4. To screw up the bolts supporting the lever of valves and a nut, protecting them from unscrewing.
5. To grease cores of valves and directing valves with oil for гипоидных transfers of class SAE 80/90. To insert the valve and to paste over with a sticky tape of an installation site of crackers.
6. To grease with engine oil маслоотражательные caps, to insert them and to remove a sticky tape from cores of valves.
7. To insert in the order of a spring of valves and the top plates. To compress springs and to insert crackers.
8. To establish levers of valves.
9. To oil and establish a new sealing ring of the forward bearing of a cam-shaft (the adaptation 21.009).
10. To insert a persistent lining and a pulley (the strengthened party outside) on a camshaft.
11. To establish the springs keeping the lever of valves and to adjust a backlash of valves.
12. To establish the remote plug, a casing of a gear belt and the tension device.
13. To screw the pipeline of giving of oil on cam-shaft bearings, the chamber of tap of a cooling liquid from a head of the block of cylinders, and also the thermostat (a new lining).
14. To lay on a lining of an inlet collector a sealing cord of 5 mm (And 70 SX 19554-BA) to establish new linings of a final collector and to screw both collectors.
15. To screw a thermal casing of a final collector.

The prevention

In case of installation before used valves in a new head of the block of cylinders it is necessary to arrive as follows:

      – To grind in the valve and their nest;
      – Carefully to clear of the paste which have remained after grinding in, to oil cores of valves and then to arrive to start assemblage.
