The privodnoj belt of the water pump puts in action also the pump of the amplifier of a steering and the conditioner compressor. The belt tension is made by the automatic tension device.

Degree of deterioration of a belt can be defined by label position () on fixing скобе in relation to the block () on the lever of the mechanism of a tension (fig. of the Label of the indicator of a condition приводного a belt see). If the belt new, a label settles down flush with the top part of the block натяжителя. At a stretching of a belt the lever натяжителя a belt moves also the block on the lever moves upwards in relation to a mark on скобе. At transition of a mark to the bottom part of the block натяжителя the belt is subject to replacement.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For belt removal to turn clockwise the lever натяжителя a face key (17 mm) for inflow in the pulley centre, to remove a belt from pulleys and slowly to release the tension mechanism.

2. At belt installation to take away the tension mechanism in the same way, as well as at removal, and after belt installation on pulleys slowly to release the tension mechanism. Thus there will be automatic belt tension.
