5.5.1. Adjustment of turns of idling and quality of a mix

For adjustment of turns of idling and quality of a mix it is necessary to have a tachometre and the analyzer of structure of exhaust gases.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To check up a condition of the air filter and if necessary to replace. 2. To warm up the engine to working temperature. 3. To disconnect all consumers of the electric power. 4. To disconnect a socket of a temperature-sensitive element of the fan of a radiator and to close both contacts by a crosspiece for fan inclusion on a permanent job. 5. To check up installation of the initial moment of ignition. 6. To connect to the engine a tachometre (at the switched off ignition) and a gas analyzer. 7. To increase turns of the engine to 3000 rpm and to keep them within 30 seconds, and then to translate the engine in an idling mode. 8. To take readings of devices. 9. At a deviation of size of turns of idling from norm the screw of adjustment of quantity of a mix to establish demanded turns. 10. At a deviation of size of the maintenance WITH to remove a protective cap from the screw of quality of a mix, to increase turns of the engine to 3000 rpm and to keep them within 30 seconds, and then to translate the engine in a mode of idling and, rotating the screw of quality of a mix, to establish demanded level WITH. 11. At change of number of turns of idling to adjust their screw of adjustment of quantity of a mix. The prevention To take readings of devices and to make adjustment it is possible only after stabilisation of indications of measuring devices. 12. In the absence of a gas analyzer rough adjustment of quality of a mix can be made as follows. On the working engine to rotate the screw of quality of a mix inside until turns of idling will not start to decrease considerably then a little to unscrew the screw in the opposite direction before reception of smooth work of the engine.
